One of my teacher friends passed this on today, and I liked it enough to post it. But... Okay. I'm tired of the cold. I'm tired of hearing "Stay warm!" and "Recess will be inside today." I'm tired of bragging about all the fun we have in the snow and of how tough and warped we all are. But, I guess I can't do a thing about it, can I? So, we continue to pretend to embrace winter even though we're dying for a sign of SPRING!!!!! Sorry to complain, but can anyone relate?
Cute post! We're ready for spring here too, even though we rarely dip below zero. Still snow on the ground though so we'll have to try and keep a handle on spring fever for a while longer...
ReplyDeleteThis is great Aleta! Mom said they have had 65 inches of snow this winter. It's true- North Dakotans are tough! They close schools or have a two hour delay here when there isn't a flake of snow in sight. Looks like you had a good time with Russell and Andrea!
ReplyDeleteThat is so true, love it!! I guess I need to quit complaining of our cold winter down here. At least we have been having breaks in it. Three of my sisters live in MN, so we keep comparing temps! Everything would shut down if we saw the minus's that you have all seen. Hang in there, it's almost March. You needed a longer break in TX!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words of understanding.... WE have actually had 30's and 40's for a few days! We are SO enjoying it!!! The sun feels warmer and is getting higher in the sky every day. There is HOPE!!
